Well I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but just never had the time or the parts to start the project. I bought the car in Las Vegas february of last year it is a 92 Mitsubishi 3000 gt. When I bought the car I had to have the alternator replaced because the car wouldn't hold a charge after a I had it replaced it worked fine, but it ould still not hold a charge so I did what I should have done in the first place and check the fuse relay. That was the problem the fuse was broken so I replaced that and it worked perfectly. The engine runs immaculately so that is what was most important to me. On the drive home the hood flipped up, cuz the latch broke (it was pretty windy) and it smashed the windshield and the roof of the car.Well after the accident happened my friend was able to tow my car home on his car dolly and work was able to begin. Items replaced:
- Bumper
- Front Clip (top and Bottom)
- Head lights
- Radiator
- Hood
- Windshield
- Alternator
- Rear side panels
- Rear Hatch (the previous one was sun damaged)
- Center taillight
- Clutch
In addition to some of the things replaced I have also replaced all of the window motors, relocated corner lights, and added hood pins. I just barely received the cold air intake kit which will be put into place until I am able to order the twin turbo kit for the car. Also the gas regulator has arrived and new performance ceramic brakes and calipers. This should all be installed by the end of the week and I can put up more pics of how the engine looks as it along with evrything else gets modified.
